I Pod Case

I have been having just too much fun with fusing fabric and free motion quilting. Yesterday I finished a case for our I-pod. This was a fun little thing to make...
The wonderful thing about these is there is no pressure to make it perfect and I know if I mess it up I can just start over. It seems like the less pressure I put myself under the better things come together. I do not know where all of this little doodling with the sewing machine will take me but I am enjoying playing for now.
I think this was very successful and I really like the combination of fabrics. I just may have to make these as gifts for my friends and family. Oh, I ordered a 24 inch quilters table for my sewing machine. I am looking forward to having a larger workspace for quilting.

I am also working on ideas for my annual valentine but nothing is materializing yet.

  1. Oh my gosh, I love this one too! I agree with the fabric combo--gorgeous--and your quilting is so incredible!

  2. Too cute! I love the free motion circles - they really make it!

  3. I love your quilt stitches. How fun.

  4. this is lovely Connie. I really like the red fabric with the circular flowers, gorgeous.
