I have been very busy practicing and perfecting my calligraphy skills which have not been used in many years. I just assumed when I wanted to do it I could. Forgetting how much work it was and the amount of practice I needed. My skills were as rusty and my pens...
I have ordered new pen tips and some new ink but I have continued to practice with the pen tips and ink I have.
I told a friend I could do her daughter's wedding invitations not stopping to think how much I needed practice. Now the time as come...
Wish me luck.
They are going to be so beautiful. What a nice thing for you to do.
ReplyDeleteOh I do wish you luck! I have volounteered to make 40 wedding favours for my cousins wedding! Yikes, not even started yet! I think Calligraphy is a beautiful skill to have, you are so clever!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the final project
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice gift to your friend! I love the way calligraphy looks but I'm just not committed enough to learn :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful gift you are giving. I'm sure you will do a wonderful job, but I also wish you luck, (and fun!)
