I have had this Hoya for probably 20 years or more and it has never bloomed. Every time my mother would come visit she would wash it's leaves give it some attention and then it would grow a leaf or two and then it would just be there. It never has grown much until we moved here to the coast. I think it just loves the moisture in the air and the sun.
I have never seen one this color before and I just think it is beautiful!
I hope all of you are having a nice weekend.
We have a "family hoya"--multiple plants all originating with the one my grandmother had growing ALL OVER her dining room. If you find the right place for it, don't move it! I love the smell when they first start blooming, but then it gets a little overpowering.
