I love the designs on this machine. My grandmother gave it to me when I turned 13. I have it sitting in my studio. I think it is a beautiful machine. I am thankful that is still works since I will be using it to finish quilting my latest project since my trusty Elna is having some problems......

I think my sewing machine is dying. I got this machine in 1976 and it has been a wonderful machine. Yesterday when I was quilting my latest project it started not responding when I would use the pressure foot. I thought it was a short in the cord but when I removed the top to make sure it wasn't a belt or something I noticed when I would use the pressure foot there were flashes inside the machine. I am going to try and find someone to repair it but I am not sure what will happen. I guess time will tell.
Your vintage machine is beautiful, and what a treasure that it was a gift from your grandmother! Hope your Elna can get fixed soon. I am sure both machines are like good trusted friends after so many years. xo
