I have been working on a sun dress for my niece. Here is the dress. I apologize for the photo it is not great. I have been putting off making this since I don't have my usual machine. Fortunately the machine I used worked just fine. It has been many years since I made a garment and I had a really good time making this for her. I hope to finish the hand work tonight and get it in the mail to her tomorrow. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it fits!!!

ReplyDeleteLucky girl! My mom used to make my clothes when I was younger but it wasn't until I was in my twenties that I really appreciated how wonderful it is to have custom-made clothes. There's nothing like that perfect fit (and you rarely get that in the store). It looks lovely.
